 Where do we start?

Your child is offered a FREE assessment and consultation that takes around 45 minutes, from which current attainment levels are established and problems are identified before the results are fully discussed with you. Should you choose to proceed, the results of the assessment are then integrated into your child's individual programme of work to match their learning needs.

Our sessions

Children attend the centre generally once a week for 80 minutes, focussing on either English, maths or languages (French, German, Spanish or Italain). Programmes followed are partly computer and partly written based and up to six different topics will be covered during each session, thereby ensuring interest and motivation is maintained at all times.

A fully-qualified, CRB checked teacher is allocated to your child and will provide constant direction, guaranteeing that the learning experience is both enjoyable and focussed. Progress is at students' own pace so that they are never overwhelmed or lacking challenge. Positive aspects are highlighted so that failure is eliminated. Achievement is there for all and self-esteem is raised.

A small amount of homework is provided each week (with your permission) to ensure continuity from one week to the next.

It is in this environment that children very soon grow in confidence and, where previously there were only low expectations, find themselves succeeding. They are thus enabled to deal with problems in basic concepts that they have been facing and to work towards the grades in external exams that they strive for.
